Big Star Mariscos

Present Future Architects teamed up with One Off Hospitality for the Big Star Mariscos concept located in the West Town neighborhood in Chicago – just down the street from our office! The renovation of the existing building included a new front entry located at the most visible corner of the site and adjacent to the outdoor dining courtyard. The new entry is celebrated by a colorful overhead screen that pivots around an existing (and massive) sign post. The interior renovation included the relocation of the bar to the central 1.5‑story dining space, a new private dining area, kitchen upgrades and a take-out window.
